CFMOTO Recalls 2024 CFORCE 800 Touring & 1000 Touring ATVs
CFMOTO is recalling around 2,650 of its ATVs for a crash hazard caused by a throttle that can fail to return to the idle position. That's never news you want to hear, but at least we can say good on CFMOTO for addressing the issue rather than letting it become more of one. Thankfully there has only been one injury to date from the problem at hand, but the brand has issued a stop ride for vehicles until a fix is completed.

The nation's largest gathering of students in American agriculture had more than 70,000 attendees, and Can-Am took the opportunity to showcase its 2025 Defender side-by-sides and Outlander ATVs.
Ricky Powersports Recalls 385 ATVs for Dangerous Suspension & Brakes
Ricky Powersports is recalling around 385 of its Tumble Weed Youth and Adult ATVs for dangerous components and a failure to comply with national safety regulations. The suspension and brakes at hand both pose their own crash hazards, the combination of which is obviously even worse. Things are worsened further by handlebars that pose their own hazard. This issue is such that the brand is issuing refunds to all of those who have purchased these machines in question.

First Ride: 2025 Kawasaki Brute Force 450
Kawasaki’s new Brute Force 450 just rolled into the midsize ATV scene, answering years of requests from Kawasaki fans and dealers alike. Sandwiched between the Brute Force 300 and the powerhouse 750 ( check out our review), this 450 gives the best of both worlds—serious utility wrapped in a frame that doesn’t make you choose between work and play. We had the chance to take it out for a full ranch experience, running the Brute Force through some classic farm chores and a few offbeat activities to see if it could bring both the muscle and the magic.
VIDEO | Our First Ride of Kawasaki's 2025 Brute Force 450
Our editor, Kyra, traveled to beautiful New Mexico to test ride Kawasaki's brand-new mid-sized Brute Force 450 at the famous Imus Ranch. We looked for the usual features, such as weight capacity, towing ability, clearance, lighting, and comfort, while performing chores around the property. Hauling hay to feed buffalo, dropping off pellets for the goats, checking trail conditions, and even taking breaks for some fun, like a barrel race and a "hunt" for "wild" boar. If you want to read the full review, check it out here. Otherwise, watch our video recap of the experience and come up with some of your own opinions.

Hunting for Moose with the 2024 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 Trail
They say success is measured in inches, not miles. When it comes to hunting, however, it’s more of a ratio. For some, it’s measured in how many miles you put in versus how many inches the rack is. It’s a bit of that for me, but more importantly, it’s how many pounds of meat are in the freezer. When you put in as many miles as we do and have nothing to show for it, your success ratio will measure at an all-time low. Luckily, we had the 2024 Honda Pioneer 1000 Trail Edition to lift our spirits.
