New police video, obtained by TMZ Sports, shows that during a 2023 run-in with cops, Chandler Jones tried to get a hold of Tom Brady -- with the hopes the quarterback could help diffuse a tense situation.

The heated encounter between the former NFL star and the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office went down last year, on Nov. 27 ... after authorities tried to take Jones to a medical facility in Arizona following their receival of a court-ordered mental health petition.

Body-worn camera footage from responding officers shows, initially, they had a tough time getting Jones to come out of his Arizona mansion to speak with them. But, when they talked to one of Jones' female acquaintances outside the home -- Chandler appeared from his garage area wearing nothing but his underwear.

The man found guilty of murdering rapper PnB Rock learned his fate in court today ... and it will be a long time before he has any chance of getting out of prison.

Freddie Trone, who was convicted on one count of murder, one count of conspiracy to commit robbery, and two counts of second-degree robbery, was in a Los Angeles courtroom on Monday where a judge sentenced him to 31 years to life in prison.

Another man, Tremont Jones, was found guilty of two counts of robbery and one count of conspiracy and sentenced to 12 years behind bars. Trone was painted as the murder mastermind by prosecutors ... prosecutors said he sent his teenage son inside the Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles restaurant to rob PnB Rock and drove the getaway car after the deadly burglary.

Vince McMahon isn't wasting any time knocking Netflix's soon-to-be-released docuseries, "Mr. McMahon" ... with the former WWE honcho blasting the project just days before its anticipated release.

The six-part doc debuts on the streaming giant's platform later this week -- on September 25 -- and although 79-year-old McMahon admits he hasn't yet seen the series, it's evident he's bracing for a show that paints him in less than ideal light.

"I don't regret participating in this Netflix documentary. In new docs, the NYC Department of Social Services straight up claimed Jay-Z was "poisoning" the auction through public statements indicating Dame's piece of "Reasonable Doubt" would revert back to Jay in 2031.
