Sidcup Library will be closed from Monday 23 to Saturday 28 September inclusive to allow layout improvements to take place.

The changes will update the library layout to achieve improved access to book collections for all users, especially wheelchair users and those with mobility difficulties. They will also make the space more flexible. It is anticipated that more events will be held in the library in the future, ensuring that the new library delivers maximum benefit to residents.
Due dates on items borrowed from Sidcup Library will be extended to ensure that none fall for return during the closure period.
Customers may return books to any council-managed library in the borough.
While Sidcup Library is closed, the nearest libraries will be Central Library, Bexleyheath and Welling Library.

The Storyteller café and cinema will remain open as per advertised times.
