Would you consider switching to a smartphone with an E Ink display?

Electronic paper, otherwise known as ePaper, is a miraculous display technology -- it's able to digitally approximate the reflective and visual properties of a physical sheet of paper, and it can do so with convincing accuracy. When compared with other modern display technologies like LCD and OLED, ePaper is undeniably the superior choice in certain circumstances: eReaders, note-taking pads, retail price labels, and billboards spring to mind as ideal use cases for the tech. Today, the undisputed leader of the ePaper scene is the E Ink company, which is responsible for many of the ePaper panels currently found in consumer products on the market. E Ink has been so successful, in fact, that the brand is synonymous with ePaper as a whole, similar to how Kleenex is synonymous with tissues, and Band-Aid is synonymous with bandages. ePaper technology has rapidly improved in recent years, with colored displays now available on the market. One of the biggest weaknesses of E Ink, its relativel

Should Apple bring back the headphone jack?

As a proud wired headphones user, I think Apple needs to bring back the headphone jack. Audiophiles have always stuck with their wired setups -- even when Bluetooth and AirPods stole the show over the last few years -- because nothing beats the high-quality, lossless sound of a good old-fashioned pair of wired headphones. Personally, wired headphones and earbuds have always been my default (I was raised in a crunchier household, so wires were kind of a given over EMFs) and watching the beloved port disappear from iPhones in the name of "progress" was both frustrating and expensive -- mostly because of how many dongles I lost over the years. The headphone jack never hurt Bluetooth users before, and I think it'd make many of Apple's users very happy. That said, it might put the tiniest dent in Apple's push to keep users locked into its walled garden of audio tech -- but let's be real, they'd still sell plenty of AirPods. Would you use a headphone jack if your next iPhone suddenly had one

What do you think the best flagship smartphone is right now?

All the flagships are here. Whether it's the iPhone 16 Pro, the Pixel 9 Pro, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, or even Samsung's or Google's foldables (I have a soft spot for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold), all the top-tier smartphones of the past 12 months are finally here. Each smartphone is a solid device in its own respect, with distinct advantages and disadvantages. For example, the Pixel 9 Pro arguably includes the most useful AI features, thanks to its emphasis on helpful AI-powered photo editing, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra includes the most stunning smartphone display I've ever seen (how can you not love those super slim bezels?). Then there's the iPhone 16 Pro. Regardless of how you feel about Apple and iOS, its Photography Styles are a true game changer in the world of smartphone photography, allowing you to tweak your photos precisely how you want as they're shot (say goodbye to those awful blown-out HDR highlights). Or maybe foldables are more your speed? I loved the Pixel 9 Pro Fold's front
